100 Most influential photos

The story of this photo is that many of the gorillas were shot and some were captured and taken to zoo’s. My opinion on this is that it’s sad that people do this, if it was for the people to live i would understand but it isn’t. They are killing them for no reason and taking them from their home to limit them so everyone else can see them.

This picture is during a war. Tanks and barricades were up. I see this picture all saying that time never stop for you, that you have to keep on going. I like this picture because it could represent a lot of different things.

This picture shows that we have won and that we are still here. They put up a flag that represents our home to show everyone that we did it. This picture is a proud moment for us, could also be sad that we lost a lot of people to Japan but it was worth the fight.

Aaron Siskind

My first impression from Aaron Siskind’s photos were that he kind of had the same idea in all of his photos. He achieves abstract by not associating right from the world. That he is using objects and materials that he sees. Important parts of the photos is the black and white and also the way it is taken. The way that it looks like it’s peeling or that you can feel the actual texture.
