My first impression from Aaron Siskind’s photos were that he kind of had the same idea in all of his photos. He achieves abstract by not associating right from the world. That he is using objects and materials that he sees. Important parts of the photos is the black and white and also the way it is taken. The way that it looks like it’s peeling or that you can feel the actual texture.
